BCEFW SS26 - Brand Application
Applications for the 16th Budapest Central European Fashion Week are now open!
The region’s most significant fashion event, the Budapest Central European Fashion Week, will place Central European fashion brands again in the spotlight from 1–7 September 2025. The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency is accepting applications from domestic and regional designers for the Spring-Summer 2026 season shows by 28 April across seven categories, from runway shows to presentations.
The 16th BCEFW will open its doors to Hungarian and regional designers in the first week of September. In the SS26 season, designers will have the opportunity to unveil their latest Spring-Summer 2026 collections – from traditional catwalk shows and presentations to self-organised fashion shows and collective shows.
Applications are open in seven categories:
- Catwalk Show– the classic runway format, ideal for brands whose collections are ready for the international market and who present two seasonal collections each year.
- Self-Organised Show– independently organised, uniquely formatted showcases for experienced designers.
- BCEFW Showcase– for brands with at least one seasonal collection and a significant manufacturing capacity.
- Presentation– presentation format for renowned brands in the domestic and regional scene who are preparing for the international market.
- New Generation Collective– emerging fashion brands that have been operating for a maximum of four years.
- Young Talents Collective– for recent graduates who wish to showcase their new works created within the past year.
- Conscious by BCEFW– for brands who focus on sustainability and meet the criteria established for the Conscious Fashion Initiative in the SS25 season.
The event provides not only a platform but also international visibility for participants, as it attracts significant attention from the domestic and international press, professionals, influencers, and buyers.
Designers can apply electronically at the official BCEFW ‘APPLY’ page. The submitted applications will be evaluated by the Advisory Board, a group of international professionals.
Deadline for applications: 28 April.
