Modern Calligraphy Workshop

Location: Zugműhely, 1111, Budapest, Budafoki road 27.

The workshop introduces the basics of modern roundhand style: you'll learn traditional rules with a fresh, contemporary approach. Step by step, you'll discover the techniques of calligraphy, from the correct handling of the tool to forming rounded letter shapes and fluid connections. The aim of the program is for participants to experience creative relaxation, the joy of making art, and offline 'me time,' while also gaining a new skill and taking home the art of beautiful writing as a memorable experience. The workshop is led by Tímea Soós, certified typographer and calligraphy instructor. The program is beneficial for both beginners and those experienced in visual design. The workshop will be conducted in Hungarian.
