Apply for the Hungarian Showcase at Milan Design Week!

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) is still accepting applications from product designers, fine and applied artists for the 2025 Milan Design Week! The goal of the application is to provide Hungarian creative industry talents with an international platform to showcase their work at one of the world’s most prestigious design events.

Attention Designers, Visual Artists, and Industrial Artists!

Milan Design Week is one of the most prestigious events in the international design world, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. The event has evolved to be a defining platform for presenting the newest trends, technologies, and directions in design. The one-week-long design festival features furniture, home accessories, and artworks of thousands of exhibitors: global brands, creators, manufacturers, and young talents.

The collective Hungarian presence under the Budapest Select umbrella brand offers a unique opportunity for selected applicants to present themselves to an international audience with a unified yet distinct and individual concept.

One of the main aspirations of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency is to elevate the profile of Hungarian creative industry brands and creators and assist them in entering foreign markets and participating in international fairs. To achieve this, HFDA has showcased works by Hungarian product designers and fine and applied artists at Milan Design Week (MDW) under the Budapest Select umbrella brand several times, providing an insight into domestic contemporary art and material culture.

The Concept Competition Has Concluded

The open competition for the creative concept and visual design idea of the Hungarian showcase at Milan Design Week has successfully concluded. The submitted creative concepts by architects and visual designers are currently being evaluated by a professional jury. The selected concept will play a key role in shaping the Hungarian presence at the 2025 event.
