Hungarian Designers Featured at the 15th Ljubljana Fashion Week
As the coordinating organization for the sector, the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency places a strong emphasis on supporting the visibility of emerging talents and strengthening collaborations with regional organizations.
During the Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW), which showcased spring-summer collections, a record number of regional brands were featured, thanks in part to agreements with organizations such as the Slovak Fashion Council, Ljubljana Fashion Week, Belgrade Fashion Week, and Ukrainian Fashion Week. With the support of the organizers of Ljubljana Fashion Week, three Slovenian designers presented their work at the BCEFW SS25 season at Millenáris in Budapest.
The 15th edition of Ljubljana Fashion Week took place from 7-11 October at the Center Rog creative hub, where emerging Hungarian talents were also invited to participate. Five Hungarian designers—ACZÉL SÁRA LUCA, CHOKASSY, JUDIT BÁRÁNY, SLANGSLANG, and SOPHIARON—selected by the organizers, showcased their collections in a collective show on 8 October to both Slovenian and international audiences.
Nearly 2,000 attendees visited Ljubljana Fashion Week daily, with approximately 600 people attending the Hungarian showcase, the BCEFW Collective Show. Following the successful Hungarian showcase, participants of the fashion week were invited to a closing event organized in collaboration with the Hungarian Cultural Center in Ljubljana, held at the Liszt Institute, which attracted close to 300 industry professionals and enthusiasts.
