Lizipot open studio and sale

Date: 19-20 October, 2024. (11:00-17:00)

Location: Lizipot ceramics workshop, 1143 Budapest, Zászlós street 10.

Visitors get to experience the birthplace of Lizipot ceramics for themselves, and are granted insight into the production process, furthermore, this is a perfect opportunity to acquire unique ceramics.

Here at Lizipot, we have been producing unique, practical ceramic wares for induviduals and fine dining restaurants alike. The minimal, contemporary pieces are dreamed up and modelled by Liza Rózsavölgyi, who also produces them by hand after. The rustic dishes, made from black stoneware clay, carry the marks of the japanese wabi-sabi style: fingerprints, unusual shapes, color shifts... That sort of irreproducible „imperfection”, which makes every handcrafted object unique. With the specialty of the used clay, the marks of the production process and the metallic, stoney appearance of the results, everyone can experience the essence of the ancient ceramic techniques.
