Open Studio - Plydesign x Nieto Light

For ten years now, Plydesign has been working with local designers, providing a platform for them to show their creativity and create objects made of plywood that, in addition to their distinctive shapes, respond to our everyday needs. During the Budapest Design Week, the participants can talk about design that connects us during the Open Studio. As we transition into autumn, the organizers also highlight the crucial role of lamps, whose significance is amplified during this time of year with the shortening of the days. The event will be a timely opportunity to see new products alongside the luminaires already in the collection, including an improved version of the FLESUS lamp, the special feature of which will be presented by the designer himself. The lamps, the result of a collaboration between Nieto Light and Plydesign, were designed by Nieto Ramón. They feature a unique form inspired by nature and exploit the possibilities offered by plywood technology. The biomorphic shapes of the lamps dynamically fill the space, making them almost a chef-d'oeuvre in their own right. The organic shapes are complemented by the warmth of the wood and the natural colour temperature of the light, allowing you to bring a little bit of nature into your home.
The event is open to the public.
