PRODUCT NAME: Silent Stones

PRODUCT DESRIPTION:

The design of the panels was inspired by soft, rounded stones in the sea, which, taking in our hands, fill us with calmness. The stones show up in shades similar to the natural, undyed wool of various sheep. The felt's rustic, matte, sometimes almost elephant-skin-like texture is also well suited to the design of their surface. The designer chose MDF board as the carrier material, i.e. wood, and concrete as the supporting element. The four materials fit nicely together and can find a place in both modern and eco-architecture. The curved panels are based on bendable MDF board, which is covered with factory-made felt. The individual panels fit into concrete bases, which, by rotating the elements as desired, can be fixed in several ways, thus offering a multitude of form variations. This product line is perfect for offices, waiting rooms, and public spaces, where it is important to create an intimate atmosphere. It would serve as a screen and as a sound-absorbing medium at the same time, taking advantage of the excellent properties of felt. The individual elements function as space dividers between workstations, they create an intimate sphere for those waiting in waiting rooms, and they divide larger spaces in an exciting way. As they are mobile pieces, the space can be rearranged at any time.
