Zadrian Smith

Zadrian has lived and worked across the globe in Los Angeles, New York City, and London. He has an associate’s degree in Applied Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology. Whilst living in London, he completed both his undergraduate studies at the London College of Fashion in Fashion Journalism, and postgraduate studies at the Courtauld Institute of Art, where he studied 16th Century Italian Renaissance History of Art.
Zadrian’s career in fashion started officially after working with the senior exhibition team at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York City, which led to a position at American Vogue, followed by a transfer to British Vogue. After four years at British Vogue, Zadrian founded PETRIe, an annual, independent and global print and digital media enterprise providing a platform for freedom of expression, which he now oversees as Editor in Chief.
His career in the celebrity world was established working with a carefully curated list of high-profile clients between London, New York City and Los Angeles, including Naomi Scott, Paul Mescal, Ariana DeBose, Asante Blackk, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Micheal Ward, Virginia Gardner, Max Harwood, Nia DaCosta and Patrick Gibson.
His refined approach has fostered ongoing authentic relationships for his clients with luxury brands. Most notably, he has been instrumental in helping clients secure exceptional career opportunities, among which a Chanel campaign, an ambassadorship with Salvatore Ferragamo and Teen Vogue, coveted invites to catwalk shows and prestigious events in Los Angeles, New York City, London, Milan, Venice, and Paris.
Zadrian has also worked on both print and digital editorial opportunities with renowned titles such as American Vogue, British Vogue, Teen Vogue, DAZED, Glamour, The Telegraph Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, The Last Magazine, V, VMan, HERO, HEROINE, PETRIe, Sunday Times Style and The Coveteur.

In service of his vision to promote diversity in the fashion world, Zadrian Smith works with newly established non-profit organisation Fashion Minority Alliance. Zadrian joined FMA as one of the founding partners and member of the Emerging Brands Committee, joining forces to elicit change in the industry through educating brands towards more inclusive work cultures.
