My primary goal in textile design is not to keep up with the trend, but to express my sense of life and style, with the need to create long-lasting material. This is one of the fundamental pillars of environmental awareness for me. The others are to always think in natural material and to work with domestic manufacturers, helping them to survive.
In 2009, on the occasion of the Centenary Year of Futurism, I designed a collection of ten patterns that reflect this movement. The basically black and white collection inspired by playful geometry and kaleidoscopic effect. This year in London, I will present new versions of these patterns.
