Áron Baráth

ARTIST: Áron Baráth

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Áron Baráth (1980, Novi Sad, Yugoslavia) graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2006 at the Graphic Design Department. The young artist, who has enjoyed enormous popularity on the international art scene, lives and works in Budapest. His abstract, free, expressive programmatic paintings, dominated by colour and gesture, are created with brushes in different sizes, brooms, sponges, sprays of different shapes, laid on the floor of his studio. The passionate expression of his emotions is achieved through the automatic process of painting. Yet a sense of form and compositional principle are present in the instinctive. He has exhibited in the United States, Germany, Poland, Austria and Belgium.
