ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Bence Magyarlaki (1992, Pécs) lives and works in Paris, graduated in 2017 from Central Saint Martins BA Fine Arts, London. He has exhibited in the UK, France, Morocco, Portugal, Turkey and Australia. His work has been nominated for the MullenLowe NOVA Awards (2017) and The International Takifuji Art Award (2017). His hard sculptures evoke a formal world of soft, malleable materials, creating an exciting tension in his works made using non-traditional sculptural methods. He draws most of his inspiration from the human body and reflects on different body concepts.
