BRAND DESCRIPTION: Dávid, a programmer, has a passion for technology as well as a fervent love for the tactile creation of ceramic art. His thirst for creativity has been following him since childhood. After his 9-to-5 job he spends most of his time managing one of Budapest’s newest coworking ceramic studios, where he also creates his raw-clay pieces imbued with vibrant neon colors of graffiti spray cans. These vases and decorative pieces usually resemble minimalistic Scandinavian design pieces, sometimes with a twist. The inspiration for these pieces comes from his years in Copenhagen, the city famous for its thriving contemporary ceramics scene. With limited time to spare, he carefully crafts each piece to ensure that they are one-of-a-kind, unique expressions of his creative vision, refusing to create large batch consumer ceramics.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Dávid’s ceramics are greatly inspired by his years in Copenhagen, famous for its minimalistic design and matte, natural color palette. Dávid uses this language but adds his own twist to break with conformity by using neon colors sprayed from graffiti cans. Other ceramic artists are either intrigued by this technique or hate it altogether; this controversy is what Dávid is looking for. The tool also adds some unpredictability to the process: a hand-thrown and carefully created vase can be elevated to a new level or destroyed irreversibly by a slip of the hand. The pieces serve a decorative purpose and should be carefully cleaned with a soft cloth. The colorings are prone to damage: do not touch them with rough materials.
