BRAND DESCRIPTION: DEGA Design was founded by Ágnes Deli and Endre Gaál, artists and designers. We design and create unique, small-scale products, so-called art-design objects, taking into account the social and ecological aspects of design. We apply a unique approach, while at the same time we use a needs-oriented practice in design. The primary aspect is the use of recycled materials and objects. Wood, glass, metal, etc. are given a new look. As a result, the products are identical in concept, but varied in implementation.
PRODUCT NAME: Table
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: A combination of standard industrial iron elements with a unique, ever-changing recycled glass element. The constructive, metal and wood leg structure, which can be varied in proportion, is organically built on an amorphous, natural-looking, warmly-shaped glass element, reminiscent of ice and water, which bears the controlled randomness of the form and technology.
PRODUCT NAME: Glass objects
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: The glass objects were made in the experimental studio built on the site of the former glass factory in Boda Glasbruk, Sweden, at the Glass Heap Challenge symposium.The basic body of the form, which is divided into two parts, is the metal mould-blown glass from the former factory moulding kit. The upper organic glass element is a wood mould-blown element of my own design and construction, which is controlled in some parts and allows free space for the warm glass to develop in other parts. The shape is accentuated by the different arrangement of colours.
