Design Management Award Granted

Created by the Hungarian Design Council, the Design Management Award has now been given for the tenth year in a row, with the aim of showcasing how a design-driven approach can enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of an organisation.

“If we want to make our world more livable, creativity and innovation are among the best means to provide new workplaces and added value. Compared to other industries, design has a much higher development rate” – said Prof. József Fülöp, D.L.A., appointed Commissioner for the creative industries within the Ministry for Innovation and Technology, and Dean of Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design Budapest, in his welcoming speech.

On this anniversary, the award was given to sixay furniture for their unique and future-proof solid wood furniture. Special prizes were awarded to JULIUS K9 – K9-Sport Kft., the Studio of Young Designers Association, IVANKA Factory Zrt., S39 Hybrid Design Kft., Tipton Eyeworks – Tipton Global Kft., and Beyond the Standard – BTS World Kft.
