"Everyone is pink on the inside" - Artist talk with Andrea Csekő and Fruzsina Kun
Date: 16 October (18:00 - 19:30)
Location: 1015 Budapest, Hattyú street 16. (doorbell: 53)
Andrea Csekő's geometric, rectangular compositions and Fruzsina Kun's layered, mysterious worlds reveal two different universes at first glance, yet both make the invisible visible. Andrea's austere forms create a sense of structure and order, while Fruzsina's blurred boundaries open up hidden, mysterious dimensions. Both artists' paintings evoke a sense of undulation, turbulence, expansion, flow - typically soft movements. How do these different approaches relate and what common truth do they reveal? By the end of the discussion, we may be closer to the realisation that we are all the same underneath the layers of the surface - because everyone is pink on the inside.
During the conversation, gallery owner and cultural manager Linda Bérczi will talk to the two artists about the meaning behind the motifs.
The event is open to the public.
