Genius Loci_9

The artist reinterprets the architectural term "Genius Loci," an ancient Roman expression signifying the "Spirit of Place." It suggests that every location possesses a character, radiance, and spirit emanating from the people living there and the objects in the environment. The artist’s spatial structures are meticulously hand-built in layers, employing the most primitive pottery-making technique, yielding living, breathing surfaces. The objects exhibit variations of organic and geometric forms in space, creating multi-perspective interplays of light and shadow, lines, and spatial compositions.
