Kárpitos Partner Group Bt. was founded in the February of 2018. Its owner, Csaba Jónás and his upholsterers have decades of professional experience and are devoted to quality upholstery. The company’s main profile is the production of upholstered furniture for the retail and public markets. Furthermore, they repair upholstered furniture and interior design objects. Their high-quality products are found in numerous private apartments and public spaces, but their outstanding creation was the unique upholstered bench in the lobby area of the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace in 2020. Their upholstered furniture is also commercially available, which can be purchased to order (sofa, corner set).

The designer: Annabella Hevesi

Annabella Hevesi is a certified product designer artist, Managing Director and leading designer of I O Line and Round studio founded with Gábor Bella. She graduated from MOME with a Master’s degree in 2020. She has been working as a product designer since 2016 and as a space planner since 2017. Her first interior design work received Hungarian (Arthungry) and international (A’design) awards, and she has presented her furniture design at different international professional exhibitions. Her last project was designing a unique contemporary seat collection for the Hungarian State Opera House named “Opera Collection”.

The product: Dedas modular furniture line

Kárpitos Partner Group Bt. and Annabella Hevesi brought to life the Dedas modular seating furniture line, inspired by Ferenc Lantos enameller. The furniture line was planned to be a spectacular furniture element in public spaces so they can be made at any length. Due to their sustainability, they can be dismantled and repaired at any time, thus extending the product’s life cycle. During designing, a unique tapestry was used, a durable material following the “cradle-to-cradle” principle that is flexible enough to allow seamless upholstery.
