The Hungarian fashion industry will debut in Dubai in the autumn as part of a professional programme. The initiative aims to provide Hungarian fashion industry brands with a tangible opportunity to enter markets and build professional relations in the Middle East. The fashion-focused event offers an exclusive opportunity for brands to showcase in front of international distributors, journalists, and industry decision-makers.

The Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA) is taking another step in November 2025 to strengthen domestic creative industry players’ international position. This time, it will create a showcasing opportunity in Dubai under the Budapest Select umbrella brand. The initiative aims to support Hungarian designers’ market entry in a crucial and dynamically developing region and help them create long-term professional relationships with decision-makers, experts, and buyers in the Middle East.

The programme allows brands to present themselves in person and showcase their collections on the region’s key fashion platforms. The Budapest Select Tour appearance consciously builds on the experiences from previous export market initiatives with similar objectives, including the practical results gained at Expo 2020 Dubai, and shapes the Agency’s long-term foreign market strategy accordingly.

Dubai, one of the most important economic and commercial hubs of the United Arab Emirates, has become a new focal point of the global creative industry in the past few years. Therefore, the presence of Hungarian brands at this forum is valuable not only from a business perspective but also holds great significance for their international recognition and professional positioning.

Participation is subject to an application process, which is evaluated by the CEO of HFDA with the involvement of an expert panel. During this process, they will pay particular attention to the brands’ visual identity, professional expertise, export market potential, and authentic communication.

The opportunity is open to all fashion brands, accessories brands, and designers registered as businesses or individual creators in Hungary and have at least one completed financial year. For the selected participants, the programme offers not only debut opportunities but genuine business relations, access to new markets, and a long-term professional presence in the Middle East.
