RGB SPACE

The sculptures are cast concrete artworks formed from the initials of the additive colors: red, green, and blue. The two sculptures are closely interconnected. In the case of the smaller sculpture, the initials of the three colors morph into each other. In the larger sculpture, the previous small form's absences create space, revealing one of the genre-specific features of concrete sculpture, the negative form, the shuttering, which is often unseen. The artist regards the RGB sculptures as a foundational point, catalyzing a deliberate and increasingly intense exploration of coloration within his artistic works.
