The designer: Máté Horváth, Forms Design

Máré Horváth launched their studio with Sarolta Csoma in 2018 and named it Forms Design. The designer participated in a personalised course offering long-term development possibilities, the design START programme by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency in the spring of 2019. He took part in creating the concept and preparing manufacturing but also managed the project and tracked the products. He believes that possibilities offered by design should be available for everyone, and he sees a solution to this through his creations.

The product: UPP! furniture

The collaboration between SIXAY Bt. and Máté Horváth, UPP!, is an ergonomic office furniture line aiming to create an ecological, ergonomic, friendly work environment close to people and nature where office work takes place in a healthier and more pleasant atmosphere. The office furniture line is made of 100% recyclable materials such as solid wood, and the table’s covering is made of natural materials, while the surface treatment comes from a natural source as well.
